Patton PX405 is the best fan on the market, no exceptions

The Patton PX405 is the best fan on the market, no exceptions. It is solidly built of metal and durable rubber mounts for a smooth sound. It has three speeds; the lowest barely makes any sound at all, while the high speed blows as hard as you could want in a home. I have used fans since I was a child as a sleep aid. I have owned many fans, several from Patton. Previous Patton fans tended to be `full blast’, `full blast plus’ and `right speed for full speed’. That is, they lacked a slower speed. The PX405 solved that problem. Fans over time can get `lose’, possibly squeaky or rattle. The PX405 solves that by good engineering and not cutting corners. Parts are welded, not just screwed. This will out blow, out last, and be quieter than any fan I know of.

READ before u BUY
This is probably the best fan ive ever bought but it does have its flaws.

First I’d like to say it’s durable and blows enormous amounts of air on level 3. But, with that said, its made in china and wasnt put together as good as it could have been. I had to send the first one back because of bad demensions… it couldnt be assembled. I heard that they used to be built in the USA, but i guess since they are made in china now, the quality is questionable.

Second… contrary to what others may have said, I love this fan for in home use. It sits 5 feet from my TV and when the fan is on level 1 and 2, i have no trouble hearing the TV, and im so used to the sound of the fan, that i just tune it out. BUT, on level 3, thats a different story… this fan should have had 4 settings because the jump between level 2 and 3 is doubled. On level three the fan gets loud but it feels so good. Its not a bad loud, its just well… loud. I dont mind the sound because its blowing so much air and feels so so good. So when im watching TV, i just have it on 1 and 2, but when i need to cool down the room quickly, i turn it to level 3 and do something other than watching tv.

this has been the best fan ive ever bought, and im happy with my decision. no regrets. and one other thing… because its not metal, its really light and wont rust. its perfect for me because i constanly carry it between rooms in the house. i use it when im on the treadmill and i use it in my inhome studio because my equipment gets hot. hope my review was helpful.

good luck

Patton makes good fans, no question. But I am confused as all get out about why others say they’re the best fans on the market, no exceptions. I bought 2 PX305’s about five years ago. They run great and are quiet, to be sure… But this fan doesn’t blow worth a DAMN! I’m sitting two feet from it right now, at the end of August in Chicago, with 80 degree weather, and I cannot even feel the fan blowing.

It appears as though the fan blows a bit out to the periphery, but it never blows directly forward.

I’m here to tell you that despite what the others have said, this damn fan couldn’t blow out a candle or a butane lighter being two feet from me. I propped it up on a table to see if that would help. Nope.

So I’m confused as to why others’ fans work but mine just goes round and round…
